Thanks to practicing martial arts, the body’s resistance increases not only to rivals in the ring, but also to various viral diseases, which has been proven by doctors. In addition, such sports are not as traumatic as it might seem at first glance.

 

Humanity has wanted to learn to defend itself since its inception. Therefore, it is impossible to say for sure about the time of the origin of the most ancient martial arts. Usually, the moment of systematization of rules and techniques is taken as the starting point, and the creator is the first active disseminator of the cult of this struggle. It is rare to find the art of martial arts without intertwining philosophy. Such an inextricable tandem arose due to the fact that for many centuries the ability to defend oneself was the main condition for survival, therefore, wrestling was taught from an early age, it was an important method of educating not only physical stamina, but also spiritual endurance, respect for elders, teachers, parents.

 

With the development of population migration, martial arts began to mix with each other, creating new styles and schools, and also spread throughout the world. The main types of wrestling arts of the East include judo (Olympic form since 1964), kickboxing, wushu, aikido, taekwondo (Olympic form since 2000), jujitsu and karate. Some of them are based only on using the capabilities of your own body (and the energy of the enemy), and some contain techniques with weapons and improvised means.

 

Since Soviet times, martial arts sections began to appear on the territory of our country. At the moment, many of our athletes are assessed at the world level – Fedor Emelianenko, Arsen Galstyan, Alexey Denisenko, Mansur Isaev, Tagir Khaibulaev, Anastasia Baryshnikova and others.
